Infinite Thanks! to everyone who participated in Bogiaisso 2025
We thank all the women and men of Chioggia who took part in the community artworks and screenings, together with hundreds of other guests, giving us trust, passion and authenticity.

Thanks also to the 25 artists who generously lent their works free of charge, so that the Bogiaisso community could fully enjoy them.

We thank the scientific committee that helps us generate important connection points between the reality of Chioggia and water-related communities from around the world each year. Directed by Niccolò Moronato, this year the committee involved Cairo Clarke, Camilla Zennaro, Zöe De Luca Legge, Ilaria Conti, Giulia Menegale, Fabienne Liptay, Giuseppe di Salvatore, Orsola Vannocci Bonsi and Lele Buonerba.

Bogiaisso [Bo-gia-ìsso] in Chioggia dialect means 'vortex, the point where water bubbles up'.

Since 2022, during the fishing moratorium, Bogiaisso has been a moment to look in the mirror and discover ourselves reflected in sensibilities, lands and waters both near and far, thanks to a selection of video works in profound dialogue with local life experience.
